Please read these instructions before dowloading anything!

BrailleBlaster works on Linux, Mac and Windows in both 32 and 64 bits. There is a separate download for each platform and architecture. Choose the one that matches yours. However, for Windows we have been able to make a single installer that handles both 32 and 64 bit versions. For Windows you will get a self-extracting exe file, which you can simply run. For Linux and Mac you will get a zip file. We are working on installers for Mac. We are also working on a getting-started tutorial, which you will be able to read the first time you start BrailleBlaster or from the help menu. For Windows, go to the brailleblaster folder and read the getting-started.txt file. For Mac and Linux see the next paragraph.

Currently, a zip file is provided for both Mac and Linux. Unzip it in a convenient place. It will produce a folder with the name brailleblaster-xxx, where xxx is a version number. Inside this folder is a file called getting-started.txt. Please read this before proceeding further. There is also a file called brailleblaster.jar You must have the Java run-time environment installed. You do not need the Java Access Bridge. Put a shortcut to brailleblaster.jar on your desktop. You can also run it from the command line or terminal according to the instructions in getting-started.txt
